Having become one of Australia’s most prominent and successful public speakers and trainers through The Real Learning Experience, Simon Thiessen now has a much bigger goal for this growing business.

He is establishing a national network of franchise operators in key Australian cities to fulfil his vision for Australia's first high profile, national brand in corporate training for excellence.

“My business takes me right around Australia, and I have been aware of this gap in the market for some years,” Mr Thiessen says. “Our national clients have applauded the concept of best practice training for excellence which is consistently developed and delivered by a team of people who are passionate about training and equally passionate about building The Real Learning Experience brand. 

“Our franchise holders are all trained to the same exacting standard, have the same high levels of skill and utilise training programs which have been developed in Australia for the Australian market over more than a decade.

Once the Australian network is established, Mr Thiessen will expand The Real Learning Experience to New Zealand and Asia.

Mr Thiessen’s determination and ability to achieve goals was amply demonstrated in 2004, when he completed Ironman Australia. He had previously been overweight and unfit but, using the same principles which form the bedrock of his training programs, he transformed himself into an Ironman athlete.

This transformation has been sustained, and his motivation to change his life becomes a powerful inspiration to his clients, those he trains and to The Real Learning Experience team.
