Before starting the Emerging Leaders program, my Supervisor lacked the confidence to take initiative and lead when it really counted. They’d come to me with every issue — big or small — and really struggled with the idea of conflict or stepping into uncomfortable situations. It became especially difficult when I was on leave and unreachable, knowing I'd likely return to a pile of problems waiting.

Since completing the program, the change has been incredible. Their confidence has grown massively. They’re making decisions, managing challenges independently, and taking ownership in ways I hadn’t seen before. The program helped them break through the barriers that were holding them back and gave them tools they actually use. They’ve stepped up into tasks like debtor control and even run team meetings — things they wouldn’t have touched a few months ago.
And on my most recent leave? Not a single phone call. They just handled it. The Emerging Leaders program hasn’t just improved their capability — it’s changed how our whole branch operates. I’m seriously impressed, and incredibly grateful for the support they’ve received.
